In this year’s municipal election, Nanaimo has an important opportunity to choose impactful, positive change for our community.
An opportunity to choose progress over status quo, compassion over apathy, and hope over despair.
Together, we can help to create a community we are all proud to live in.

I respectfully acknowledge that I am an uninvited guest on the traditional and unceded territory of the Snuneymuxw First Nation, upon whose lands I am grateful to be able to live, heal, teach, and grow. I am dedicated to the ongoing work of learning & unlearning the ways in which colonialism and white supremacy continue to guide how I interact with the world. I recognize the significant responsibility of the desired role I am pursuing and commit to building intentional relationships and engaging in decision-making, governance and policy development that is in alignment with UNDRIP, DRIPA and the TRC’s 94 Calls to Action to move our community closer toward Truth and Reconciliation.
